I have written down almost every important thought I had in the last four years. Now I came to the realizaiton that this is actually meaningless.

Pictures, writings, journals, videos, songs, etc. – They all make you relive moments of your life. That can quickly become a form of escapism.

Naturally, we tend to write down the things that hurt more than the things that makes us happy. Then we analyze that data again and again, and we reach a kind of false prophecy: We can’t leave this thought that hurts us. It’s become us.

The past causes depression. The future causes anxiety.

Now I try to live the day. Just one day at the time.
